The position is initially one year to recommence our LOTE program after our previous language teacher moved into a Class teaching position.
Language choice: The school is seeking applications from teachers with French, Spanish, Indonesian, German and/or other languages. The language chosen will be dependent on applicants’ strengths. The school previously offered Indonesian from 2020-2024.
FTE: The role is part-time teaching of all the Primary classes (1 to 6) once or twice a week of 8-12 lessons, across 2-3 days. At this stage, it could be 1 afternoon and one almost full school day in Term 1 & 2, moving to one afternoon in Term 3 & 4. Exact timetable to be advised.
Grade level: In Semester 1, all primary classes (Class 1-6) will have at least one LOTE lesson per week, in Semester 2, it will just be classes 1-3 receiving their LOTE lessons.
