Tamar Valley Steiner School

Tamar Valley Steiner School delivers a purposeful education, centred on the full development of every child, honouring their individual journey.

Our balanced curriculum weaves together academic learning, creative arts, time in nature, and physical movement. "Head, heart and hands" is more than an aspiration - it's reflected in a program intentionally designed to engage students in thinking, feeling, and doing each day.

Our curriculum kindles curiosity and joy in learning, fosters collaboration, creates opportunities to build deep connection and care for our living world, and empowers young people with the imagination and skills to lead meaningful lives.

Welcome

Our Promise

We promise that your child will leave our school with a well-developed sense of self knowing and the agency to act from their own individual convictions as they grow.

Not only will they receive an academic education grounded in the real world, they will also be immersed in the arts and nature and receive heart and soul nourishment essential in balancing out the automated, technologically driven world we all are part of.

We will teach your children the skills to build meaningful human connection with others in their lives.

We will kindle joy in learning and teach them to recognise and create beauty in their lives. We recognise and nurture the unique potential for each young person to lead lives of inspired action and purpose.
